I am a graphic designer working in Zürich, Switzerland and Portland, Oregon. I have delivered exceptional graphic design work for over 30 years. I have a solid reputation for problem-solving, and delivering world-class results on time and in very short time-frames, providing fast turnaround graphic design, concepts, branding and photography for print, presentations, web site and mobile applications.
In 2012, I founded Sci-Fi Hotel LLC to create an innovative and exciting new hotel brand: Sci-Fi Hotel®. In 2013, I partnered with artist HR Giger to establish HR Giger Bar in the U.S. For both projects, I am currently considering real estate, investment and and partnership opportunities.
Between 2010 and 2012, I designed numerous iPhone and iPad applications, as well as published my own books for iPad: Around The World In 18 Days, 48 Hours In Hong Kong, 48 Hours in Cairo and 48 Hours in Istanbul. I also specialize in travel and hotel photography. Some recent work can be see at www.zuribild.com
In 2002, my morph animation work was profiled in an PBS documentary, Oregon ArtBeat. This work has been featured in television commercials and is showcased as a projected backdrop for rock group ‘The Dandy Warhols’ international live concerts.
Throughout 1998, I was creative director for the STAR TREK World Tour and TITANIC: The Official Movie Tour. I designed all marketing and souvenir materials for both international touring events.
In 1993, I founded Off-World Communications to produce cd-rom computer games for various publishers. We completed The CHAOS Continuum (1993), Ray Bradbury's The Martian Chronicles (1994), Isaac Asimov's Robot City (1995) and my own work 'Silicon Scream' in 1996. For all the games I provided creative direction, 2-D and 3-D special effects, environment and character design as well as interaction/script development.
